How far in advance should I book?

Most guests book 2–6 weeks out, especially for peak season (Dec–Apr). We accept same-day and last-minute charters subject to availability — call our booking specialist and we'll find you a yacht.

What's the minimum charter length?

All yachts have a 3-hour minimum. The most popular choice is 4–6 hours, which gives you time for a swim stop, a full chef-prepared meal, and sunset on the way back into the marina.

Can we see whales on the charter?

Yes — December through April is humpback season. Cabo Yacht Charters is SEMARNAT-certified for whale-watching, and a portion of every whale tour is donated to ECOBAC for whale conservation.

What about kids and dietary restrictions?

Kids 0–3 sail free, ages 4–12 are $75, ages 13+ are $150 for groups of 11 or more. Your chef will accommodate any allergy or dietary need — we'll gather this at booking.

Is transportation included?

Yes. We provide complimentary shuttle transportation to and from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), plus marina transfers on the day of your charter.

Can we book an overnight charter?

Four of our six yachts support overnight charters — Les Is More, Heather Nikki, Number Juan, and Neoprene. We also run multi-day itineraries from Cabo to La Paz.

How much does a private yacht charter in Cabo cost?

CaboTide private yacht charters start at $549/hr with a 3-hour minimum. The hourly rate includes the yacht, crew, fuel, private chef, open bar, paddleboards, snorkel gear, towels, and marina shuttle; 16% VAT and crew gratuity are added at the end.

Which Cabo yacht is best for my group size?

Olivia Grace, Steel Aweigh, Les Is More are built for smaller private groups up to 14 guests. Heather Nikki fits up to 25, Neoprene fits up to 30, and Number Juan fits up to 40 guests for larger celebrations.

Where do CaboTide charters depart?

Charters depart from Cabo San Lucas Marina, Slip 4. The service area includes El Arco, Medano Beach, Palmilla, Chileno Bay, Santa Maria Bay, whale-watching routes in season, and custom Cabo to La Paz itineraries on overnight yachts.

Private yacht or shared boat tour?

Choose a private yacht charter when you want your own crew, schedule, menu, bar, swim stops, and route. Shared boat tours cost less per person, but they do not provide the same privacy, pace control, or custom experience.
